Dang is this vacuum, the strong! It is as effective as full-size vacuum, but only half the size and weight. I bought this 12 amps Dirt Devil Eureka 6 amps when I broke out in 3 years use on a weekly basis. I was very pleased with the initial 6 amps of power. However, I decided it was time to move him because I live with two cats who shed constantly. DD does a great job picking up hair balls, sand, dirt, crumbs, small stones, and many others in my parquet flooring and tiles. In addition, powerful suction, SD is also light and will take of themselves. But there are many disadvantages:
1) too much! I do not use ear plugs every time I use this machine (seriously!). We already know that it is 12 amps power. . . We do not need to hear it!
2) The handle is too short. I am 5 feet 6 inches and I honestly believe that the handle is about 2-3 inches too short. I am constantly bending my back I can see, when you use this machine.
3), empty head does not rotate. I liked the fact that the old Eureka had the ability to pivot. He certainly made it easier vaccuming.
4) Air springs side vents, blows away what I have to do the floor. It’s really a shame, because I have to “hunt” what I want in a vacuum.
5) Too big to go Under My couch. I can not get over the empty head. The whole body does, because it is too big. I have to clean the remaining 2-3 feet of space faster.
Although SD is excellent suction power, I prefer the old Eureka, 6 amps, which cleans just as well without the engine noise! If you do not run around chase dirt using your ear plugs, and then transferred to DD and buy another vacuum.

I bought this vacuum, and I’m pretty disappointed. I’m usually too hard to disappoint. I bought a vacuum-B / C was 12 amps – “as much power as the vertical size, I thought it would be nice to have that power, even an empty lighter that I could use the Quick Pick ups and stairs.

It is also noisy… One would think that a jet engine is taken out of the living room, I am sure that I have lost some hearing – my ears were sore after the event (no kidding!). If I have to this point, I will certainly use ear plugs whenever the vacuum! Certainly not received the download, when the children are asleep!
It is also a problem with the volume and speed of air left in the engine compartment. It is quite a problem b / c if you are not careful, dirty, that you wanted to try eventually is blown across the room, before they are there!

I bought this unit because it was a “reasonable” 12 A motor. I thought it would be self-pick up dirt without beater bar. I was right more than I ever expected, in fact, thats the only complaint. It is so powerful that the air will come out often falls on his feet quickly by blowing hot air and bounces off your work moving dirt and dust devils in the environment. Other than that it is great. A lightweight, extremely powerful and easy to plot corners. Note, however, that the engine is so powerful that sometimes it feels like you’re bucking Bronco in hand when it is switched on.

If the noise is almost painful to go to any of this plane to tear down spikes on the floor mat. Instead, it leaves the carpet almost like it was before you download.
